Mr. .and Mrs. John A. Piehler and daughter Cioda of Rochester, N.Y. left Wednesday for their home after spending two weeks as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Many anf family at Ivy Hill.

Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne accompanied Mrs. Lyne’s mother, Mrs. M. E. Cottrell to Toano where they were weekend guests. Mrs. Cottrell has been visiting in the Lyne home.

Rev. and Mrs. A. Paul Thompson and daughter Ann Rodes of Fork Union spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown.

Miss Mary Jane Mornis of Charlottesville was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton.

Mr. and Mts- Maurice Manuel and family of Browntown were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Chris Schaefer at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Varner where she is recovering from a recent illness.

Mrs. Leslie Payne, Miss Mae Payne and Mr. Myrat of Arlington were guests Sunday of their cousin W. NT. Rector.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Payne of Madison v.-e-e guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer.

Russell Swindler and daughter Linda of Brentwood, Md. spent several days last week with Miss Barbara Swindler and other relatives here. Mrs. Annie Gore Bruce who has been spending the winter months with the Swindlers has returned to the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Blankenbaker in Mad
