Vows Exchanged

Mrs. John B. Miles announces the marriage of her daughter, Frances Foster, to Roy C. Jenkins on Friday, April 8, 1960 in a quiet ceremony in the Front Royal Methodist Rectory performed by the Rev. T. C. Boyd.

Mrs. Jenkins attended Rappahannock County High School and Roller Business College. She is the daughter of the late William Edward Foster, Sr.

Mr. Jenkins is a graduate of Shenandoah High School, Shenandoah College and Madison State Teacher’s College, Harrisonburg, Va. He has been teaching in Virginia for the past several years and is a former member of the faculty of Rappahannock County High School.

The couple will make their home in Harrisonburg where Mr. Jenkins plans to continue his teaching career.

There will be a special service at Thornton Gap Primitive Baptist Church Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. with Eld. Orville Prior as guest speaker.
