Saturday morning we were tree until 10 o’clock when we began a .four hour tour of downtown Manhatten where we saw such places as Wall Street, Greenwich Village, the Bowery, Chinatown, the oldest and newest skyscrapers, Trinity Church and several parks. From the bus we transferred to a ferry which took us to the Statue of Liberty. Due to lack of time, the group went only to Miss Liberty’s feet which was 10 floors up! Then back to the bus and to the United Nation’s building where the group was taken on a glided tour of the building and into some of the chambers.
Saturday night we walked to the International Club for dining, dancing and a floor show. At 11 o’clock Sunday morning we took a subway to the Empire State Building. The ride was exciting and we had a guide to tell us where to get off. New York
