Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m., Mrs. Elva Compton of Amissville, driving a 1959 Ford sedan owned by Charlie Compton of that address, was struck by a 1954 Dodge owned and operated by Allen Bea mon of Arlington, on Route 645 two miles west of Amissville. No one was injured but damages to the two vehicles were estimated at $400. Beamon was charged with reckless driving by Trooper L. N. Stevens.

At 9:45 p.m. Saturday on Route 211 at the caution light in Washington, Va. a 1958 Ford station John Andrew Pieler of Rochester,. N. Y. was struck by a 1955 Pontiac sedan operated by Douglas.
