Archie Dodson
Archie Dodson of Sperryville, died suddenly late Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 20, 1962, at Atkins Store in that village.
Mr. Dodson operated a roadside market and souvenir shop on Rte. 211 and also drove a school bus. He had made his bus round, stopped at the store and collapsed.

The first Quarterly Conference of the Rappahannock Methodist Charge was held at Wash, ington Methodist Church November 12 with the Reverend Owen D. Kelly presiding. Representing Flint Hill Church were Robert Clatterbuck. H. S. Barksdale, Robert Nethers, Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. W. A. Gentry, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. Anne Grimmer, Sperryville Church, Mrs. Roy Reeves, Mrs. Ennis Brown, Mrs. Menegee; Willis Chapel: Mrs. Aubrey North and Mrs. Vernon Mills; Washington, Mrs. Lester Burke, Mrs. Virginia Estes, Mrs. Jack Woodward. At this meeting the financial reports are read and delegates to various conferences are elected.
