CHEWY BROWNIES Vz cup enriched self-rising corn meal Vz cup sifted enriched selfrising flour 2 squares unsweetened chocolate METHOD: 1/3 cup butter or margarine 2 eggs, beaten 1V* cups brown sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 cup chopped nuts 1. Combine com meal apd flour. 2. Melt chocolate and butter or margarine over hot water. 3. Blend eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, chocolate mixture and nuts. 4. Stir in com meal-flour mixture and blend thoroughly. 6. Spread batter in well greased 9-inch square pan. 6. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees F.) about 35 minutes* 7. When cool, cut into squares.
