The marriage of Miss Anne Mason Morton of Richmond, daughter of Mrs. Gordon Edward Morton of York, S. C. and the late Mr. Morton, to Dr. John Ashburn Rawls, son of Mrs. Peter Elisha Rawls of Richmond and the late Mr. Rawls, took place at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 17 in First Bap. tist Church, Richmond.
The Rev. Dr. Theodore F. Adams, pastor, officiated.
Given in marriage by her uncle, Lewis B. Morton on Concord, N. C. the bride wore a gown of taffeta with Alencon lace and seed pearls. Her veil fell from a cap of taffeta flowers and she carried chrysanthemums and stephanotis.
