300 RMA Cadets Will
Lead Xmas Parade
Col. John C. Boggs, President of Randolph-Macon Academy of Front Royal, announces that in cooperation with the Christmas Parade Committee of Front Royal the 300 cadets of R.M.A. will lead the Front Royal Christmas Parade the night of Nov. 30. The Cadet Corps will be led by the Randolph-Macon cadet officers, the band, and the color guard. The cadets, always perfectly uniform and groomed, never fail to bring a thrill to all that see them. The award-winning cadet corps will move off at precisely 7:30 p.m. thus starting the longest parade ever seen in Warren County.
Otis Kibler, chairman, and Robert Wood, vice-chairman of the Entertainment Committee, announce that in addition to the Hicks Hoppers and the Sundown Hillbillies appearing on the Square following the parade, a Christmas Sing Along will take place on the Court House Lawn in Front Royal. A large movie screen will be set up with words to familiar Christmas songs projected on it. Singing will be led by Otie Kibler and Bob Wood, accompanied by an electric organ.
