Mr8. Harry Estes

Mrs. Harry Estes died Sunday, Nov. 18, 1962 at her home in Mt. Airy, N.C. after a long illness. Mrs. Estes was a sister of Mrs. J. W. McCloskey and aunt of Mrs. George Taylor, both of Sperryville.

Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Cary Kirkman of Georgia, four sons, Melville Estes, Base City, the Rev. T. W. Estes, Forest City, N.C., and Roy and Harry Estes, jr., of Mt. Airy; 12 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

Mrs. Taylor left Monday for Mt. Airy and attended the funeral services on Tuesday.

Birthday Party

Miss Cary Susan Carr celebrated her sixth birthday with a luncheon party on Tuesday at the home of her parents* (the Rev. and Mrs. Dabney J. Carr. Her guests included Kerry Brock, Timmie Groover, Jim Fletcher Massie, Andy Nichols, Becky Chapp, Mary Lib Snead Freddie Schafer.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jenkins of Centerville are receiving congratulations on the birth of a son, Gregory Bryant, born Nov. 13, 1962 at Fauquier Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Dodson of Sperryville are the maternal grandparents and Mr. and Mrs. Conner Jenkins of Slate Mills arr the paternal grandparents.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilson J. Burke of Falls Church announce the birth of a daughter, Belinda Jean, bom Nov. 8, 1962 in the Fairfax Hospital.

Mrs. Burke is the former Jean Clater of Sperryville, daughter of Mrs. Maggie Clater.
