Judge Snead’s television must be broken or he hasn’t had time to watch it lately. I read in a Washinton, D. C. paper where our judge had sentenced cattle rustlers in Leesburg to five years in jail. Now all who watch adult westerns know that the penalty for cattle rustling is hanging.

There is no question that Rappahannock is one Of the healthiest places in the world and even the rats believe in "an apple a day*. When Mr. Massie went into his garage to get some apples which were stored there he found to his amazement that four of the five bushels had been devoured by rodents. Mr. Massie was preparing to go to Florida and put the remaining basket of fruit in his car. Apparently not yet satisfied the rat jumped up on the car chassis or wheel and was trapped when it fell off and Mr. Massie ran over it. Tom finished it off with a shovel. It was one of the finest, fattest, sleekest rats you ever saw.
