Mrs. Catherine Zaharov of the Virginia Tuberculosis Association brought to the group the plans for the National TB Association i n films and information which would be available for use, which could not be produced on a local level. Also of the state staff, Mr. Taylor Copping, spoke on the educational campaign to inform the public about the two danger signals of respiratory diseases (including tuberculosis) which are short ness of breath and chronic cough. The message is “If you have shortness of breath or a chronic cough, you may have a respiratory disease. Don't take chances. See your doctor." He said that everyone, but particularly people over forty and especially men are the chief victims of chronic respiratory diseases, which may be found by means of the two symptoms. The program is to be put into effect the first of May. ^
