day evening visitors were Mr. and Mrs. J. Richard Latham and family. Sunday Mrs. Latham was a dinner guest of the [ Rev. and Mrs. Harold Carter and family in Culpeper.

The Amissville Junior Firemen entertained about 35 young people Saturday evening at a party in the Fire Hall. Chaperones for the group were Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Pullen and Mrs. Wallace Stover.

Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Sutton and Mrs. Frank Walter were guests for dinner Sunday of Mr. and ijdrs. French Thomas in Front Royal. C. R. Walter of Charlottesville was a visitor Thursday night of the Huttons and Mrs. Walter.

Mr. and Mrs. Isaac L. Parrish will spend this weekend with Judge and Mrs. Thomas Johnston in Norfolk.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rhodes of Fairfax visited Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Martin Saturday afternoon en route to Harrisonburg where they spent the weekend with Mrs. Sada Rhodes. Dinner guests Sunday of the Martins were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Martin and son of Rixevville and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stover of Warrenton.

Miss Ruth Chism of Elkton was an afternoon visitor Sunday of Mrs. C. J. Moss.

Mrs. Ethel Cooksey and Mrs. Hugh Riley spent Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. Maude Kemper.

Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Hitt and children spent Sunday as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Wieble at Seven Corners.

Mrs. Edward Corder has returned to her home after being a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
