C. after surgery on January IS and is reported to be improving satisfactorily. Her address is Ward 12 and would appreciate mail. Lt. Col. and Mrs. Norman Wilbur and daughter Norma Lee were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Brooke. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Dennis and family and Mrs. Ruth Deddingfield and son of Alexandria were Sunday visitors of their father the Rev. W. B. Dennis. Mr. and Mrs. George Thornhill had as their Sunday dinner guest Irving Sullivan of Reva. Mrs.” Carter White, Roger and Marian White spent the week-end in Wytheville visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart H. Butler and son Terry returned home Sunday from a two weeks visit in East Vassalboro, Maine and a stay with friends on Long Island. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Payne and children of Travillian were Sunday visitors at the Slate Mills Baptist Church on January 13th. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. B.
