Old Sheriff’s Bond, Deed* And Wills Received For Library Exhibit
The Committee for the Historical Exhibit scheduledfor July 4th at the Rappahannock Library in Washington is grateful for receiving for exhibition a most interesting old Sheriff’s Bond, deed and two wills dating as far back as 1817. At this time some old maps are also known to be available. County residents or nearby county residents are again urged to participate in making a successful exhibition by offering any of the material listed in former publications of this paper.. These articles include old maps, papers, diaries, surveys, sketches or any information on anything erf historic interest relating to people and places of the area prior to 1863. AGAIN STRESS IS LAID THAT ALL ARTICLES WILL BE - CAREFULLY CARED FOR AND EXPERT ADVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON RESTORATION AND PRESERVATION.
