Rev. Wilbur Will Conduct Services
The Rev. Warren L. Wilbur, until recently the minister of Flint Hill and Washington Baptist Churches,will be guest minister for a series of services at the F. T. Valley Baptist Church from June 17 through 21. The services will begin each evening at 8 o’clock. Guest vocalists during the week will be Mrs. Wilbur, Mrs. Mary Revercomb and Miss Aney Melton. The new church organ, a recent gift of the Revercomb family,will be played by Mrs. Lillian Coppege Mitchell, church organist.
Woodville Baptist Bible School
Vacation Bible School will begin at Woodville Baptist Church with preparation day for all workers this Friday, June 14 at 9 a. m. The school will continue Monday through Friday of next week from 8:45 until 11:45 each day with a closing program on Friday evening at 8p. m. All children from the beginner age through the intermediate age are invited to attend. Rev. B. Gale Titchenell will be principal of the school.
