Mr. and Mrs;' E. N. Montague had as weekend guests, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Demint of Alexandria. •n Mrs. J. R. Devers, Mrs. Jimmie Wayland and two children, Mrs. Lee Swindler and son, Bill, were in Front Royal Thursday and visited Mrs. Ida Devers who is recuperating after hospitalization in the home of Mrs. Luther Lawson. Mr. and Mrs. Bobbie Atkins of Chester, Pa., were weekend guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh S. Atkins. Mrs. Lee Swindler was hostess tothe W.S.C.S. group on Thursday evening. Mrs. Nina Brown presided. Others present included Mrs. Roy Reeve, Mrs. J. R. Devers and Mrs. V. M. Lewis. . Debra and Bill Dennis of Jackson, S. C„ who are visiting relatives in the county were overnight guests Friday of theip cousin, F. D. Coffey in The home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins and son, Phil, spent the weekend in Williamsburg and attended Commencement exercises at the College of William and Mary. Their daughter, Miss Judy Hawkins, was a member of the graduating class. Miss Hawkins returned home with her parents and will visit friends in Washington, D. C., later this week. Miss Peggy Pillar will arrive on Friday to spend her summer vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Pillar in Jenkins Hollow. Mrs. Gerry Gossom, two children, Mike and Julie, and Mrs. Dorothy Lloyd of Falls Church were guests for the weekend of George W. Brown. James Nelson Rector and Mickle Parnanetti of Richmond were guests on Sunday of Mrs. Perle Coffey and family. On Tuesday Mrs. Coffey had as guests overnight the Misses Eleanor Rector and Nancy Nethers. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Oden of Sharpsburg, Md., were weekend visitors of Mrs. Gladys Anderson and family.
