Glenn Hartwell Updike, son of Mr. arid Mrs. John B. Updike, Washington, Virginia, was awarded a B. S. degree in Animal Husbandry at commencement ceremonies Sunday, June 9, 1963 at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Blacksburg.

While enrolled at Tech, Glenn was a member of the Block and Bridle Club, 4-H Alumni Club and Baptist Student Union. He was on the 196 2 Livestock Judging Team and was given the 4-H Alumni scholarship in March 1963.

He is presently employed with the Extension Service as assistant County Agent in Brunswick County and resides in Lawrenceville.
