Mrs. J. L. Walter and Mrs. Julia Curtis returned home Saturday after spending a few days in Charlottesville where they attended the graduation of Jimmy Curtis, a grandson of Mrs. Curtis.
Mrs. Stanish Riley attended the Maddox-Yowell wedding Saturday in Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. McDaniel and family of Fairfax were guests for the day Sunday of Misses Garland, Lucille and Marion Riley.
Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller, Jr., and family.of McLean were visitors Sunday afternoon of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Green and Mrs. Grace Green. Miss Jacqueline Marcil of Washington, D. C., spent Sunday and Sunday night with Mr. and Mrs. Stanish Riley. Miss Louise Anderson of Culpeper was an over night guest Friday of Mrs. Sarah Latham and family. Guests for supper Friday night in the Latham home were Mrs. C. C. Cockerill, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kephart and son, Mike, and Mrs. John Peck, all of Herndon. Susan Latham returned home with theKepharts for the weekend. Miss Anderson and Mrs. Latham were over night visitors Saturday of Mrs. Cockerill in Herndon and all returned home Sunday. Mrs. W. R. Bowen was a visitor Thursday evening of Mrs. Sarah Latham and family. Sam Gay of Lynchburg was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Doyle and Miss Sandra Staap. Miss Mary Hughes of Richmond was an over night visitor Saturday of the Doyles and spent Sunday night at the home of L. H. Luttrell and Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Dennis. She left Monday for a few days visit in Culpeper before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Kidwell of Falls Church are -spending a -few days this week as the guests of Mr. »and Mrs. George Kidwell. Mrs. George Kidwell recently won $ 100 in the Acme cash contest. Mr. and Mrs. Dari Bennett of Philippi, W. Va., Mr. and Mrs. Daniel White of Annapolis, Md., Dave W. Scott of Silver Spring, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Dansteamburg of Rockville, Md.,Mrs. Gladys Reid Scott, Mrs. Eula Mae Walker and Miss Lois Bollend of Takoma Park, Md. were here Sunday to attend the funeral of Paul Zinn. i _
