Miss Virginia Louise Maddox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Maddox of Orange, became the bride of John Daniel Yowell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Yowell of Culpeper, on Saturday, June 8, 1963. The double-ring ceremony took place in Sulpeper Baptist Church at four o’clock in the afternoon with the Rev. John S. Farrar officiating. The bride wore a gown of silk organza over peau de soie, trimmed with Alencon lace, pearls and sequins.Her elbow-length veil fell from a crown of pearl-trimmed ! lace, and she carried a bou- j quet of orchids and lilies of the valley.

Miss Bertha Ann Maddox, 'Sister of the bride, was maid of honor and she wore a frock of turquoise organdy with net cap and white accessories and carried a bou- I quet of white chrysanthe- j mums.
