Mrs. Ashby Jenkins is improving satisfactorily after having had surgery this week at the University of Virginia hospital. She is visited frequently by her family. Mrs. Forest Hawkins and son, Douglas, of Madison visited Mrs. Hawkin’s mother one day this week. Mr. and Mrs. James E. Yates spent the weekend in Alexandria with relatives. Sunday callers in the home of Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and the Harry Gallihugh’s were Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Jenkins and children, Shelia and Randy, Mrs. R. M.
