The Reverend JedSon Baldwin, pastor of the Stuarts Draft Baptist Church, will be guest minister for revival services at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church next week. Mr. Baldwin, who graduated from Madison College and attended Southeastern Baptist Seminary, was at one time pastor of the Slate Mills Baptist Church. He is the son of the Reverend Gary Baldwin, a retired Baptist minister currently living in Culpeper County. The Reverend Gary Baldwin was pastor of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church when his son Judson- was born. The week of special services will begin Sunday evening, October 13th, and will end on Friday, October 18th. Services will start each night at 7:30 o'clock. The public is cordially invited to share in these services.
Chicken-Ham Supper Planned at Chester Gap
A fried chicken and. ham dinner will be held at the Chester Gap Fire Hall, Saturday, October 12 starting at 5:00 Standard Time, for the benefit of the Volunteer Fire Department. Vegetables, dessert and hot or cbld drinks will complete the menu. The price will be $1.50 for adults, $.75 for children.
