. ■ ' ' 4 . John Daniel Yowell, a prominent businessman andfarmer i of Charles Town, W, Va.,died September 30, 1963 in a Charles Town hospital. He was 74. A native of Rappahannock County, son of the late Joseph Lewis Yowell and Mary Francis Lillard Yowell, he wa£ a veteran of World War I and served overseas. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Kathleen Young Yowell, formerly of Pittsfield, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. W. B. Kilby of Sperryville and Mrs. S. F. Padgett, Jr. of Richmond; and three brothers, A. Waverly Yowell of Etlan, Jacob M. and Joseph L. Yowell, both of Peola Mills. A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Thursday at F. T. Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Franklin Melton officiating. Interment was in the Charles Town Cemetery
Mrs, Homer Rowzie ?
Mrs. Frances Gertrude Rowzie of Vienna, Va. died Monday, October 7, 1963 of a heart condition, enroute to Fairfax Hospital. . She is survived by her husband, (J. Homer Rowzie, formerly of Amissville. A funeral service wais held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday frotri the Baker Funeral Home hi Manassas and interment was in the Manassas. Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. 'Ralph Rowzie, Miss Sandra Rowzie and Miss Linda Rowzie of Amissville attended the service.
