Mrs. Maude Burrell Williams of Castleton, wife of the late Charles Henry Williams, died Thursday, October 3, at her residence, following a recent illness. Daughter of the late Buck Burrell and Fannie Banks Rector, his wife, and a native of Rappahannock County she was 71. She is survived by three sons Richard A. Williams of Washington, D. C., and James H. and Otha H. Williams, both of Castleton; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Hill of Castleton and Mrs. Olivia Griffith of Washington, D. C.; and two brothers, Otis Burrell of Hallshill and Ben Burrell of Washington, D. C. A funeral service was held Sunday, October 6, at Nazareth Baptist Church, Boston, with interment following in the church cemetery. The Rev R. L. Banks conducted the last rites. __

Minnie Howard Butler of iSperryville passed away Monday, September 20, 1963 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville after a.long illness.. She was bqrn ia Qulpeper Cway. the daughter. of the late William and 'Louella Johnson Howard. At a very early age she came to Rappahannock County where she remained until her death.
She is survived by two daugh ters, Irene E. Butler of Washington, D. C. and Alease J.
