The public is cordially Invited to attend the Dedication of the Rappahannock Library on Gay Street, Washington, Va. at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19. Following a short dedication ceremony at the Library a motorcade will proceed to the Rappahannock Coun. ty High School. There at 11;00 a.m. an address will be given by State's Attorney General Robert Y. Button of Culpeper and Richmond. Also the Warren County High School Band and Soloist Mrs. L. Nelson Revercomb of Arlington and Peola Mills will be present to lend additional emphasis to this gala occasion. Following the program a luncheon will be served in the High School Cafeteria. Mrs. Wade H. Massle, III is Chairman for the luncheon which is being arranged by the Home Demonstration Clubs end Home Economics Classes under the direction of Miss Harriet Goode and Mrs. H.VB. Wood, Jr. The ticket s/ at $1.25, will be on sale throughout the county and advance purchasing will be appreciated, Please contact Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr. for additional information.
The beautifully restored Library Building will be open both days in connection with the House Tour schedule and will afford the public an opportunity to visit and familiarize themselves with this valuable asset to the whole county. Exact operating hours of the Library will be announced'at a later date.
