By Linda Rowzie v School has begun! In fac^, the first six weeks are almost over as anyone can tell by. listening to the groans of the students as they remember that report cards are due. Last Thursday was the day for club periods. Every other Thursday a period is set aside for clubs. Students may join any club they wish. Some new ones were organized which include the Newspaper Club, Electronics Club, Pen-Pal Club, Art Club, Current Events Club. Gun Club. French Club, Embroidery Club and an Eighth Grade Glee Club. These added to the other clubs such as the Library Club, Varsity Club, Pep Club, 4-H Club, Chess Club and others make quite a selection. A couple of weeks ago the STEP and SCAT tests were given to the Eighth Grade, Freshman and Juniors. While this was going on, some’of the Sophmores and Seniors had quite a vacation, as their classrooms were being used for tests. The Seniors couldn’t feel too smug though, because most of them have College Entrance or Civil Service Exams to look forward to in the near future. The Annual Staff is busy obtaining Business Ads for the Annual this year, but we really need a lot of Patron Ads too. If every student would get just one Patron Ad from his parents we'd have it "made7. Students, this is your annual. Let’s make it the besti one of all! j;
