Saturday, January 11 the Sperryville Fire Company reported to a fire at Nether’s Mill to a storing shed owned by Mr. Dodson, which was destroyed. On Thursday night about 11:30 the same company was called to Sam Fincham’s at Peola Mills. A Utility building containing a kerosene burner, canned fruit, etc. burned to the ground with an estimated loss of $1,000.
