these groups of 15 to 30 meet over the country In schools, churches, homes, libraries or anywhere convenient. They may choose their leaders or rotate, but they hold to a plan and meet regularly.
Can such a group be formed in Rappahannock? Are there 15 people who would like to join in reading and talking about some of the great literature of all time? There are no dues, no hard and fast rules, just a friendly agreement to read and talk at given times about given books. Many of these are already in our library. If you think such a group could be formed to join the Great Books Foundation, the Library Board will help get underway. All you need to do is to express your wishes to any of the staff, or write Library, Box 55, Washington, Virginia.
