Tribute To Miss Compton
We, the Members of Women’s Missionary Society of the Washington Baptist Church wish to pay tribute to our beloved member a n d Treasurer Miss Margaret Compton. On December 15 she answered the Heavenly Father's call to her eternal home. 'Miss Margaret" as she was affectionately called by her many former pupils, was loved by all. She endeared herself in this community by her quiet, gentle, ladylike manner, her love and loyaflty of church, her devotion to friends and family. Her patience during illness. They are evidences of the Spirit of Christ in her beautiful, dedicated life. We desire a copy of this to be on our record, and to be published in the Religious Herald and one in our local newspaper. ,
