Type II Sabin oral vaccine was administered to 11,800 residents of Culpeper and Rappahannock Counties Sunday All ten locations scheduled to be open from 12 noon until 3:00 p.m. had a continuous flow of people and remained open past the closing time. The total number receiving the vaccine at Culpeper County High School was 2,700 and other locations reported as follows: Culpeper Baptist Church - 2,100; A. G. Richardson School - 1,300; Salem School - 1,300; Jeffersonton Community Center - 900; Mitchells School - 800; Lael Baptist Church - 600; Brandy Fire Station - 1,200; New Canaan Baptist Church - 300; Richardsville Community Center - 200; Baptist Home - 300; Hospital Patients and Vo* unteer Workers - 100. Mrs. E. T. Willis, Jr., General Chairman for the Culpeper Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, which is co-sponsor of the Sabin on Sunday program, stated that the increase of 800 persons receiving vaccine Type II was a trend that all hoped to see continue. Mra Willis reminded everyone of the March 15th clinic for Vaccine Type III and also announced that a make-up clinic was planned for April. She pointed out that Individuals who just missed one of the three types of,*vaccine, could take the type they had missed at the make-up clinic in April. It was pointed out that individuals who had missed any two of the three clinics could only take one Type of vaccine at the make-up clinic in April.
