Major Noce Returns
From Viet Nam
Lt. Gen. and Mr#. Daniel Noce of Castleton received a phone call from their son, Major Robert W. Noce, U. S. Army, saying that he was at home with his family in Florida after having spent a year in Viet Nam. For five months, Major Noce was with MAAG Hdq. in Saigon but in a letter to his parents last Christmas he said he had volunteered for troop duty. Since January 1, he has been senior American advisor tb a Vietnamese infantry regiment fighting in the jungles. Before leaving Viet Nam, Major Noce was awarded the Vietnamese Medal of Valor with Silver Star. He also received the U. S. Combat Infantry Badge.
