Mrs. Jean Gallihugh
Mrs. Harry Gallihugh is improving after being quite sick for several weeks. Mr. and Mrs. James Yates spent the weekend in Washington, D. C. with Mrs. Louisa Durant, Mrs. E. M. Yates and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. JohnStelockof Washington, D. C. spent the weekend with Mrs. Stelock's mother, Mrs. Festus Hudson.
Mr. and Mrs. James Allen spent the week recently at the Revercomb home. Donnie Gallihugh returned home on Saturday after spending the week at Virginia Beach. He was sent as a delegate to the 4-H Conservation camp. Mrs. Carroll Revercomb of Culpeper spent the weekend with Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Yowell. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Revercomb and son Randy’ spent the weekend at their home here. They had as their dinner guests on Saturday night Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Massie. Mrs. James Berry and chil dren, Candis, Jimmy and twin sons, David and Paul are spend ing several weeks with Mrs. Berry’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jones. Mr. Berry joined family for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jones were in Washington, D. C. on Sunday to visit Mr. Jones’ brother, Edd Jones, who is quite ill. Mr. and Mrs. William Daniels and children Danny and Mike of Bunker Hill, W. Va. were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Deal. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Deal of Fairfax visited the Robert Jones family over the weekend.
Mrs. Brown Miller sustained severe burns and was also cut on the head and face while using her pressure cooker. Misses Luanne Miller and Holly Updike are spending the summer at their homes here after teaching in Fairfax. Mrs. L. Nelson Revercomb and son, Randall of Arlington and Mrs. Rubey Hudson of Marshall, Missouri, Mrs. Revercomb’s mother, spent the week recently at the Revercomb’s country home. Mrs. Revercomb helped to teach music at the daily vacation church school at the F. T. Baptist Church, also participated in the special music for the revival services held in the evening at the church. On Thursday, June 25th, Mrs. Revercomb entertained with luncheon Mrs. Maggie Kilby, Mrs. Clyde Melton, Mrs. Thomas Massie, Miss Ouida Tanner, Miss Frances Dulaney, Mrs. Rubey Hudson, Mrs. Thurman Mitchell, Mrs. Joe Yowell, Mrs. Marie Kite Mrs. Irvin Kilby, Miss Carol Deal, Miss Laura Flemming Melton, Mary Moore and Bill Kilby.
