Mr. and Mrs. Frank W.Spald ing, Jr. of Morristown, N.J. were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Spalding. D. W. Kendrick of Front Royal was a visitor on Saturday. Louis Miller of Madison Heights was the week-end guest of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hamilton left Saturday for their home in High Point, N.C. after a week’s visit in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Moffett Brady. Mrs. Brady accompanied Manuel Pullen to Richmond on Sunday to visit Mrs. Pullen who is a patient in JohnstonWillis Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Foster are staying at the home of Mrs. Herbert Foster while Mr. Foster remains as a patient in the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. He is reported to be improving satisfactorily after eye surgery. M. H. Brady, Jr., Emory Russell, Nelson Atkins and Elmer Atkins returned Sunday night from a fishing trip to Canada. Miss Lottie Printz returned home Saturday after being a patient for a week in the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Mark Turner of Front Royal was a visitor Monday of Mrs. John S. Browning. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Moore Mr. and Mrs. Lyde Dearing and son Jeff attended the Way side Theatre last Saturday in Middletown. The W.M.S. of the Baptist Church met Friday night in the home of Mrs. Arnold Sorrells. Mrs. B. J. Wood conducted the program on "Worship".

Mrs. Joe Jenkins and Mrs. Rufus Wall, Mr6. Richard Sheetz and Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Stokes of Front Royal are spending this week at Virginia Beach. Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning attended a performance of “Blue Moon" Tuesday at Wayside Theatre. Trooper and Mrs. Paul P. Dicks and daughter Paula have returned home after spending a week at Chincateague Island. Mrs. Galley W. Smith and son Charlie Smith were dinner guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller. Sunday evening Mrs. Smith and
