City, Okla. Some 600 ponies from all over the United States and Canada participated'in the show which was considered the largest and most successful one ever held by the national association. Hayes Watch Charm was shown by Bill Conley and his daughter Robin Ann of Broken Arrow, Okla. and was entered in 10 classes. The animal received six trophies including the International Grand Champion. Mr. Conley accompanied the stallion to Amlssvllle when it returned home last week. The Hayes family will receive an oil painting of the stallion from artist Roy L. Modgling of Pomona, Calif. The national show consists of many performance classes such as barrel racing, pole bending, calf roping, flat racing and English Jumping. After the International show Hayes* Watch Charm was delivered to Timber Ridge, Inc. of High View, West Va. who had just completed the purchase of this young stallion for the highest price of any P. O. A. stallion soldf in 1964 Watch Charm will stand at stud at Timber Ridge, and will also be seplor sire in their own breeding program. Timber Ridge, Inc. is a summer camp for children and the owners plan an extensive Pony of America breeding program.
