The marriage of Miss Harriet Ann Goode, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kenzil Goode of Apple Pie Ridge, Winchester, to Bobby Lee Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Washington Smith, also of Winchester, took place in Grace Lutheran Church at three o'clock, Saturday, July 18, 1964. The Rev. William E. Eisenberg performed the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. Lennart Pearson, pastor of Opequon Memorial Presbyterian Church. The bride, given in marriage by her father wore a floor length gown of white organza, taffeta and embroidered heirloom lace. Her elbow length veil fell from a cap of Alencon lace and seed pearls and she carried a white Bible topped with \5Tnff' orchids. Mrs. Joseph Donald Dunker of Richmond was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Richard Bywaters Goode of Athens, Ga., and Misses Susan May Milly of West Sims* bury, Conn, a n d Martha Elise Mitchell, Bethesda, Md., both cousins of the bride. They wore yellow street length dresses with matching headpieces and carried nosegays of mixed garden flowers. Miss Elizabeth Linnea Pea®, son was flower girl. Mr. Lynwood Leroy Donald was best man for Mr. Smith. Ushers were Griffin Leon Davis, Jr. of Hyattsville.Md., James Warden Jenkins, Winchester and George Waldon Goode and Richard Bywaters Goode, brothers of the bride. A reception followed in the social hall of the church. For traveling the bride chose a green linen suit and the orchids from her bridal bouquet.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith will make their home in Fairfax.
