Rep. John O. Marsh, Jr., has expressed thanks to “the many citizens who have volunteered their support to my candidacy for re-election to Congress*. He added, however, that his own campaign plans “will have to remain in abeyance until the final adjournment of Congress, as my primary responsibilities rest at the Capitol so long as the House of Repre sentatives is meeting*. Marsh said he hoped to resume visits to 7th Congressional District communities after adjournment, “ and make known as widely as possible my views on the important questions of national policy likely to come before the 89th Congress, which will convene in January.* He pointed out that his Washington office -- 231 Cannon House Office Building, Washington, D. C., 20515 — would remain open after the adjournment of Congress “toprovide information and assistance for any citizen having dealings with agencies of the Federal Government."
