Marine Pvt. Ennis A. Norman left Saturday after spending a 20-day leave with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Milton D. Norman of Woodville. Pvt. Norman took his recruit training at Parris Island. S. C. and combat infantry training at Camp Lejeune, N. C. His next duty station will be with the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton, Calif.
Stork Shower
Mrs. Arnold Sorrells of Flint Hill was honored with a stork shower last Wednesday evening at her home. The women of Flint Hill and Washington Baptist Churches gave the shower. Mrs. Sorrells received many lovely and useful gifts.
son David of Roanoke, Mrs. Garland Grammer, Jr. of Killen, Texas and Mrs. Lynn Bond and sons Rickey and Kenny of Selma, Ala. were guests for the week of Miss Dorothy Spicer. Jack Dellingez> here became seriously ill Monday after being stung by a bee. He was taken to Culpeper Hospital for treatment.
