Winners at Castleton Games Announced
Twelve persons were award ed a total of $77.25 in cash which was given away Saturday night at Castleton fire house. A door prize was also awarded and went to Maude Miller. The game with lots of Big Surprises is scheduled for every Saturday night beginning promptly at 8 p.m.
Attends Convention
M. R. Bradford III of Flint Hill is spending this week in Atlantic City, N. J. and on Tuesday attended the Democratic National Convention.

Cleanup Campaign
“Every litter bit hurts," says the slogan of the Keep America Beautiful organization! Four-H members in Virginia are doing their part to keep America and the Old Dominion beautiful, says R. W. Blanton of the state 4-H department at VPI. Members in Alleghany County recently held a county-wide clean-up campaign. During the State 4-H Conservation of Natural Resources camp, Wendal Alfred, an Alleghany 4-H’er, reported on this project. No doubt other county groups will soon be Involved With similar projects. Many clubs in the state have also sold litter bags for cars, not only to raisefundsfor club activities, but to help promote cleanliness on the state's high ways. Blanton says that clubs and civic organizations Interested in helping in such a campaign should show the 18-minute sound and color movie entitle^, “Heritage of Splendor.” The movie Is available from the Visual Aids Library, Sandy Hall, VPI, Blacksburg.
