The Misses Rebecca and Cynthia Daugherty of Pulaski are guests this week of their sister Miss Doris Daugherty. Miss Belle Strother of Salem, who is visiting Mrs. Mary B. Quaintance in Sperryville, was the luncheon guest Monday of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller. Miss Carolyn Brock of Washington, D. C. was the weekend guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brock. Charles Joseph Reid and Miss Avedis Reid of New York are visiting their grandmother Mrs. C. .G. Reid at Rose Cottage.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bolyard and two children are leaving this week for Keyser, W. Va. where Mr,, Bolyard will begin his duties of coach and teacher at Potomac State College. Mrs. Leroy Hall and four children have returned to their home in Kathleen, Fla. after visiting Mrs. Hall’s mother, Mrs. F. Downing Wood and family at Sunnyside. Sunday dinner guests of the Misses Essie and Lucy Estes at their home Millmont were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Golnick and Mr. and Mrs. George Hewitt of Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Fincham accompanied by their nephew Gary^JSettle of Amissville spenf~the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Racer and Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Johnson and family in Camp Spring and Kingston, Md. Mrs. T. C. Lea met her two grandchildren Billy and Jamie Cargill Sunday in Fredericksburg and they accompanied her home for a week’s visit, while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill with Jay and Nancy Cargill are visiting in Jacksonville, Fla. Miss Peggy Palmer of Lynchburg and Nick Valdirge of Richmond were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer. W. H. Lyne returned home Friday after attending a conference of Extension Workers last week at Blacksburg. Weekend guests in the Lyne home were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Warren of Richmond and Sunday visitors were Dr. and Mrs. H. O. Lyne Jr. of Arlington. Milton Hambly, a faculty member of Rappahannock County High School, arrived Saturday from Black Mountains, N. C. and will reside in the Lyne borne for the school year. Mr. and Mrs. Rannie Fincham were guests for the day Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Fincham in Arlington.
