An automobile stolen in Culpeper Saturday night was recovered a few hours later in Rappahannock County. The vehicle, a 1957 Buick owned by H. *C. Geest, was taken about 9:30. and found at Flat Wood Inn near Washington at 1:3a a.m. Sunday morning. ™ Warrants were issued by Culpeper authorities charging William Coleman, 20, and Dallas Washington, 18, both of Culpeper, with the theft. Trooper P. P. Dicks, Sheriff C. K. Estes and Deputy Ernest Lillard apprehended the pair at Flat Wood Inn and turned them over to State Police in Culpeper. While most people enjoyed and appreciated Saturday’s pouring rain, it proved unfortunate to one motorist in Rappahannock. William Walter Cline of Fort Myer was traveling east on Route 211 at 7; 15 p.m. when his 1960 Chevrolet skidded on wet pavement. The vehicle slid to the left of the highway, went up a bank and irttb & gulley a mile and a half east of Washington. Mr. Cline was not injured nor were his family who were passengers. Damage was estimated at $J0G, according to Trooper Paul Dicks.
