Mrs. James M. Settle returned home Friday from a visit of several weeks with her daughters in Alexandria and in Maryland. Robert L. Massie, Jr. who has returned to his teaching position in Richmond spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Spalding. Dr. and Mrs. T. G. Pullen of Catonsville, Md. spent the week-end at Odds and Ends. Dr. and Mrs. Pullen have recently returned after spending the summer in Europe. Mrs. Joel Jenkins spent Sat urday in Washington, D. C. and,Seven Corners. Mr. and Mrs. John S. Brown ing attended a performance of The Romper Season last Tuesday night at Wayside Inn Theatre- in Middletown. Mrs. R. J. Petersen and Mr& Wheeler of Alexandria were luncheon guests Tuesday of Mrs. James M. Settle. Among those who dined at Wayside Inn and attended a performance of The Romper Season at Wayside Theatre Saturday in Middletown were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. Frank W. Spalding and Robert L. Massie, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Johns. Browning dined at Wayside Inn on Sunday. Miss Judy Lillard returned to classes at Ferrum Junior College on Thursday.
