Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Montague have left for a two months trip to Europe. Mrs. Montague’s brother and sister-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. George Newman will stay in the Montague’s home during their absence. Mrs. Thomas Pillar returned recently from a week’s visit with Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Mansfield in York Beach, Maine and a tour through other parts of New England. Mr. and Mrs. Mansfield spent several days as guests of the Pillars before going to their winter home in St. Petersburg, Fla. Miss Irene Keyser was a guest one night last week of her sister Mrs. Kent Woolfolk in Louisa. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor had as their weekend guests Miss Joan Aylor and Buddy Aylor of Arlington. The Aylor’s guests on Monday were Mrs. Dickie Streit and daughter, Kathy and her mother, Mrs. Marion Willingham of Winchester. Callers in the afternoon were Mrs. J. M Yowell and son, Franklin Yowell of Slate Mills. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow of Culpeper were weekend guests recently of Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. J. Earle Wayland had as their dinner guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wayland and sons of Alexandria, Julian Wayland and son of Lovettsville and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wayland of Arlington.
