Congressman John O. Marsh is being most active and cooperative in the matter of beef imports which is of great concern to local cattlemen. Mr. Marsh recently sent a copy of a letter from C. R. Eskildsen, Acting Administrator, Foreign Agriculture Service, U. S. D. A. which is as follows:
“There is no foundation to the suggestion that application of import quotas on meat under the authority of P. L. 88-482 would 8 u b j e c t * the United States to money demands from exporting countries.
