Burned Out ^
Most of the possessions of Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Jenkins and family went up in flames when the house In which they lived near Monumental Mills burned Friday. The Jenkins have nine children. Amissville Fire Company answered the alarm, as well as Culpeper and Brandy, but when they arrived the blaze was beyond control as a biting wind fanned the flames. A few pieces of furniture and odd bits of clothing were salvaged.
Christmas Seal Fund Campaign Report
The Tuberculosis and Health Association of Northern Virginia reports the 1964 Christmas Seal Campaign at $28,831.38. Last year's total campaign reached $36,414.19. Rappahannock and Warren counties are behind in their Christmas Seal contributions as of this time last year. Individual county contributions now show Clarke, $1885; Fauquier, $5148.03; Frederick, $6764.84; Loudoun, $4739.25; Page, $2667.38; Rappahannock, $653.75; Shenandoah, $3455.28; and Warren, $3517.85.
