Chester Gap
The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department had a party for the children > of the community last Thursday night at the Fire Hall. Candy and oranges were given to the children present. The country ham given by the Fire Department went to Paul Compton of Browntown, an employee of the Old Virginia Packing Co. of Front Royal. Mrs. Bradley Williams, Mrs Thomas Leake and daughter Terry were in Fort Belvolr last Monday. On Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams were business visitors in Winchester. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cessna erf North Carolina stopped to see Mrs. Phyllis Morris last Tuesday. They were on their way home after visiting for several days with Mrs. Helen Greeley in Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Williams spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Clabert Smoot and family in Washington, Va. Commander and Mrs. Harold Davis will spend several days of the Christmas holiday visiting friends in the Arlington area.
