Because it is truly the season of joy, we should make an effort fo share the happiness of Christmas with others.
For the elders, this can begin with a greater understanding of what Christmas means to children. Christmas has a special meaning for those too young to realize the true significance of the birth of the Child Jesus. Grownups sometimes become irritated as the youngsters show increasing excitement and anxiety as Christmas approaches. Let children enjoy the Christmas; help them enjoy it, and everyone will have a happier holiday.
There are other ways to help spread the joy of Christmas. We can do it with a kind word, with a smile, with a helping hand. For every little thing that we do, we shall find our own greater share of Christmas happiness.
