Temporary Game
Warden in County
Game Warden W. S. Mays arrived in Rappahannock County the end of last week to temporarily fill that position here since the death of C. Ennis Brown on Tuesday. Mr. Mays, a native of Nelson Coun ty, has been stationed in Rockbridge County before coming here. A permanent appointment will be made in the near future.

A shop judging team from Rappahannock County High School placed second in competition with six schools on Monday, February 22 at Loud oun Valley High School. Out of a possible score of 900, Rappahannock’s team composed of Kenny Bywaters, Jack Atkins, Donald Williams and Lawrence Rinker as alternate made a score of 796.
