Saturday the Amissville Fire Company answered an alarm to a chimney fire at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Poe. On Friday they were called to a chimney fire at the home of Mrs. Dolly Melbourne. The Flint Hill Fire Company reported to two chimney fires on Friday. One, a tenant house owned by J. A. B. Dahlgren at Huntly and a tenant house on the farm of Herbert Foster. The Washington Fire Company answered a call to the premises of George H. Davis, Jr. where a storehouse was destroyed at the rear of the property.
