Among the relatives and friends who were here on Thursday to attend the funeral of C. Ennis Brown were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bruce, Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Bruce, Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Griffith, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Williams, Front Royal; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Jones, Winchester, Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Sneddllng Arlington, Mrs. Annie Griffith, Culpeper; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Swindler, Brentwood, Md.; Mrs. Louis Hodges and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brown, Richmond. A large assemblage of Game Wardens from adjoining counties was also present. Clarence Wagener, who recently spent a vacation in Jacksonville, Florida, hasjreturned to his home near town. Mrs. Catherine Brown spent the weekend in Arlington with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Ed Payne and other members of her family. Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown recently visited Mrs. Brown Miller who is confined to her home by illness. Other guests in the Miller home were Mr. and Mrs. Silas D. Miller, their son and daughter-in-law Dr. and Mrs. John L. Miller of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Peyton, Jr. and Donnie Dodson of Falls Church were guests for the weekend holiday of their parents Mr. and Mrs. Lester Dodson. Guests of Mr. and Mrs.’ H. H. Aylor for the long weekend were Miss Joan Aylor, Buddy Aylor, Joe Henry Aylor and daughter Miss Ann Yates Aylor of Arlington. Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown had as their weekend guests Mrs. Elizabeth Ragan of Richmond, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Brown and family of Washington, D. C. Mrs. Ragan returned to Washington with her brother and family for an overnight visit, returning to her home in Richmond on Monday.
On Tuesday Mrs. Mabel Gorq Mrs. J. E. Wayland and Mrs. M. W. Brown motored to Martinsburg, W. Va. to visit their brother-in-law Harry Slusher who is a patient at the Veteran’s Hospital. Clyde Lineburg of Luraywas a guest of Mrs. J. H. Daily on Friday. a 1 Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey and Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank entertained at dinner on Sunday at the Coffey home. Their Kuests were Mr. and Mrs.
