Mr. and Mrs. Murphy Weakley of Richmond spent the week at their home here. Mrs. Rhoda Weakley has been making frequent trips to Charlottesville and is spending some time with her son-inlaw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Forest Hawkins and family of Madison. Mrs. Brown Miller has been ill at her home for several weeks. Mrs. Susie Thornhill attended services at F. T. Baptist Church on Sunday and was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Yowell. Mrs. Carl McMillen and children Don and Richard of Cheverly, Maryland spent the week with Mrs. McMillen’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Yowell while Mr. McMillen was in Pennsylvania on a business trip. Mr. McMillen returned for an overnight- stay with the Yowells and with his family returned home Saturday. Mrs. J. L. Yowell and Mrs. Carl McMillen and sons Don and Richard visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Coates of Jeffersonton one day last week. Upton Weakley of Culpeper was a dinner guest of Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and the Harry Gallihugh8 on Sunday. The Rev. Paul Davis of Culpeper was a visitor in the afternoon. Miss Ann Deal, Paul Coates, Frank and John Deal, Danny Jenkins, Donnie Gallihugh, Jim Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh attended the District II Tournament game in Louisa on Saturday night. Madison High School was the winner of the tournament. Danny Jenkins and Donnie Gallihugh participated in the games.
