Our wish finally came true! The snow last Monday gave everyone an extra day of weekend.

Friday night's basketball games were lost to Stonewall. Even though our basketball season wasn't a success, we can look forward to baseball. The boys “going out” this year are: Carl Clarke, Cecil Pullen, Earl Edmonds, Bill Durden, Danny Lillard, Ronny Hawkins, Howard Clark, Donnie Deal, Russell Grimsley, Page Moffett, Charles Frazier, Walter Grimsley, William Walter, Laurence Ricker Phil Hawkins, David Smoot, Bill Welch, Frank Huff, Dale Williams, Roy Weakley, Robert Jenkins, Francis Dodson, and Robert Cordani. Let’s really get in there and fight guys!!! Monday night got the Senior play underway. Everyone in the cast is really anticipating the chance to try their hand at amateur acting. The play is directed by Mrs. Palmer. Do You Know Him? (?) is Vice-President of the Senior Class, captain of the Varsity basketball team, has black hair and hazel eyes, and drives a '56 Chevy. Is it true you sometimes have trouble with the Chevy? >The Spacemobile Monday was very interesting and informative. The entire student body enjoyed the hour of science with Mr. Philip R. Surgen, fi-om NASA. Let’s have some more of these programs. t Speaking of science, teachers at RCHS are now selecting new science textbooks.
